Who would’ve thought!

If you would have told me a few months ago that I’d be sitting here writing a journal entry for my own business website, I probably would have laughed. Actually... I definitely would have laughed. It’s truly wild how quickly a "what if" can turn into a reality. Not even that long ago, this was a stray thought. Today, it’s my life.

For the longest time, I lived under this assumption that I wasn't the "business type." I used to tell people that I could never own a business because I didn't have anything to sell. I wasn't "good" at anything in a way that felt marketable. There were businesses I wanted to try and run, but I didn't have the funds to start.

And then, even if I did, what would I contribute? If you asked my closest friends a couple of years ago to describe me, they would have used words like intelligent or capable, but creative? Not a chance. I spent my entire life believing that creativity was a gift for other people, not for me. Turns out, I was wrong.

We are so often forced into these rigid 9-5 structures that demand our logic but dampen our spirits. I didn't realize how much that structure was destroying my potential until I stepped away from it. These past four months away from that traditional work environment have been, without exaggeration, the best months of my life. Taking that space allowed me to reconnect with my own intuition, meet incredible, like-minded people who challenged my perspective, and realize that the possibilities aren't just out there: they are endless and accessible.

People talk about manifesting your dreams like it’s magic, but the real magic happens in the shadow work. I’ve spent months diving into inner child healing and learning how to finally, for the first time, truly love myself. That is the foundation this business is built on. I had to do the work to believe I was worthy of a life I actually enjoyed before that life could show up for me.

If you feel the pull to break away from the mold, even just for a little bit, please give it a try. We are told that we have to stay in our lanes, but we are the ones who draw the lines. You can manifest your own reality and live a life that feels like a dream, but you have to be willing to do the work and believe in the version of you that hasn't met the world yet. I am so incredibly thankful to have you here reading this and joining me on this journey. This is only the beginning!
